Peter Gynd (b. 1981, Vancouver, Canada) is an independent curator and fifth generation artist whose approaches the landscape much as a conceptual question or ideal notion. Gynd studied at the Alberta College of Art & Design before relocating to New York to set up a studio and curatorial practice. 
Peter Gynd has curated exhibitions at SPRING/BREAK Art Show 2015, New York NY; Lesley Heller Workspace, New York, NY; Present Company, Brooklyn, NY; Galerie Protégé, New York, NY; NARS Foundation, Brooklyn, NY; 440 Gallery, Brooklyn NY; the Northside Festival, Brooklyn, NY; Dynamo Arts Association, Vancouver Canada; and a permanent exhibition at the Foundation Center, New York, NY.
Peter Gynd currently lives and works in New York City and is the director at Lesley Heller Workspace in Manhattan's Lower East Side.
